Dear Forum Members,

i'm looking for an easy way to export CEL expressions defined in the CFD-Post and import them in another CFD-Post. The expressions are basic evaluation calculations for the system i'm examine (Radial compressor with stator and volute) like total pressure ratio, efficiancy, loss coefficiant.... Since the basic pre defined Reports do not cover all my values of interesst i have to write my own expressions which i then display in the design point table.

Atm the only way i know to export the expressions is, to save the whole report and load this report in another cfd post. The disadvantage of this method is that system modifications (blade count, splitter blades vs mono blade) lead to errors in the use of the modificated Report.

I think it is better for me to use the pre defined Reports (the basically work pretty well for visualization) and only load the expressions. How can i do this?

Thanks in advance

You can use session files, which are essentially script files of actions in the gui. Record a session file of you setting up your expressions and save the session file. Then you can play that session file back to redo the actions. You may need to open the session file and edit a few commands (it is a text file with a reasonably straight forward syntax so hopefully you will figure it out).

Also, CFD-Post can be driven by CCL. So save the CCL of the expressions and save them as a CCL file. Then you can reload that CCL to regenerate the expressions.

So there is two ways to do it. It is your choice from there.
