Hi all,

can any body tell me what exactly the meanings of the angles specified in the blade gen when we try to design the blade. can I have a tutorial for axial compressor. I want to simulate a flow in an axial compressor. please give me tutroials describing the angles and the technical terms given in blade gen.

thank you all

Hi guys;

I'm also having problems in blade gen. In ANSYS tutorials, it is not explicitly told how to design an axial impeller, a turbomachinery part, etc. I want to design a normal axial fan of a quadrotor and then analyze it so get flow & performance characteristics as my graduate project. But, unfortunately i can't even design that fan now, don't know what those angle (R and Z) values mean and so on. Please anyone put any video or photo tutorial telling means of parameters?

R = radial distance from axis of impeller
Z = axial distance on axis (shaft) direction
