Manually creating a results file after next iteration

Hello,
I am running simulations on a cluster using the command line in TUI. Before, I create the .def-file for the simulations with the regular CFX-Pre on my local PC. Doing this I set the interruption criteria for the simulation, e.g. maximum iterations = 1000. A backup is created every 100 iterations (steady-state). While the simulation itself is running, I look at the out-file to see what is going on with the residuals etc. I've determined that the calculation is about to diverge and so I wanted to stop the simulation as soon as possible (let's say after the 800th iteration) in order to avoid an irregular automatic abort due to an error. Which command do I have to execute in the command line in order to stop the simulation properly, i.e. to receive a regular .res-file that can be used in CFD-Post? Concerning a hint I found elsewhere: The .dir-folder of the simulation does not contain a .res-file at any time during the run. Thanks for helping! ---------------------------------------------------------------- In case this answer was already answered anywhere on the forum, please send the link. I couldn't find anything about it... |
