Hi everyone
I need some regarding a CFD simulation im doing. Im currently using ANSYS CFX to similate a cooling fan on the volute. The boundary conditions are as follows: [*]Analysis type: Steady state[*]material: air ideal gas[*]heat transfer model: total energy[*]turbulence model: SST[*]35000rpm[*]inlet pressure@70C=0.9bar[*]refererence pressure=0[*]massflow outlet=1.3kg/s The interface models are as such: [*]inlet pipe and rotaiting domain: frozen rotor[*]volute and rotating domain: frozen rotor Here is my problem. The velocity contours from the rotating domain dont seem to merge will with the volute however im not sure how to solve this problem. I have attached images to the thread. I would be grateful for any kind of help. Thanks in advnace |

The reason is discussed in this related FAQ: https://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Ansy...f_reference.3F
