Hi there
I am using CFX(R) Interpolator to interpolate a case with many cooling holes. I received the warning message as shown here: +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | ANSYS(R) CFX(R) Interpolator | | | | Release 17.2 | | Build 17.2 2016.07.18-16.51-136427 | | Mon Jul 18 17:04:39 GMTDT 2016 | | | | Executable Attributes | | | | single-64bit-int32-archfort-optimised-noprof-lcomp | | | | (C) 2016 ANSYS, Inc. | | | | All rights reserved. I've not seen this error before, but there are similar errors regarding lack of memory. They can be fixed within the expert parameters tab in CFX Pre. I assume you will find a setting for the cataloque memory allocation there and might use factors like '1.3x' to increase it. https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Ans...oryconfig.html

Modelling 100 cooling holes is always going to be tricky. A good candidate for a reduced order model, most likely.

May I ask which approach are you using to model such cooling holes?
The message has no reference to the cooling holes; therefore, I assume the case works w/o any of the cooling holes being modeled. The message indicates there are at least 44 domains, are you modeling each hole coming from a different domain? |

You can also find them in the Solver manager. When you define a run, open "detailed memory overrides" tab for interpolation. There you can allocate extra memory for Catalogue Size. As we speak, I had a sucessful run today by setting '10x' there.
