The documentation of ANSYS CFX recommends that for superheated steam in subcooled liquid, the user defines Nusselt number about 6 on the dispersed phase (steam). How can I know the best Nusselt number for my application?
Basically it consists in water and steam transient flow, with a continuous heat deposition, with Thermal Phase Change Ranz Marshall on cointinuos water phase)(Nusselt number=6 on gas phase) modelling the interphase mass and heat transfer., cooled by surrounding water cooling with 1.8Kg/s (30 cm size recipient - 1000W) |
