Dear All,

I am doing a short term project involving steam condensation during its flow inside a concentric pipe which is cooled by water flowing in the opposite direction. As the steam condenses, we end up with a liquid region at the bottom of the pipe with the steam layer above it.
The flow is steady and the objective is to use/define appropriate condensation models in CFX to assess the heat flux and heat transfer coefficient to compare with the measurement data. I would really appreciate if anyone with the experience in this two-phase modeling could provide me the relevant guidance on how to accomplish this in CFX or FLUENT.

Thanks.

To quote the FAQ: https://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Ansy...ible_answer.3F

"Don't ask over broad questions e.g. "How do I simulate a 4-stroke engine". Nobody is going to type out fifty pages of guidance. They have better things to do."

Your simulation is very complex and will require a lot of development work. You are not going to get that question answered on a forum.
