Hello,
I have run the simulation in CFX and got the results, now from the CFX-post I have exported the results in CSV file using File->Export->And full domain. Now with the help of this CSV result file I need to initialize my full domain in CFX-Pre. I am able to apply these value at particular BC but not on full domain. Could you please help me initialize this with the help of CSV file. Thnaks |

Do not use csv file to initalize a domain. Use the 'initial values' tab in the solver and specify your results file instead. Or, if you use the command line, the "-initial-file" or "-continue-from-file" options.

If you are initializing all the variables from the .csv file, Lance's suggestions is the appropriate approach. No need for export, import, settting, etc.
If you are modifying the existing results, you can overwrite a solution field in CFD-Post and still use the modified results file for a restart. If you really need to use the .csv file, you can still use the same syntax as in the BC panel. The software just does not provide the automatic creation of the expressions since initialization via .csv files is not very common (though valid) |
