Hi, Guys and gals, when we use the CFX-interpolator to interpolate the results from the source file to the target file, where can we get the interpolated data?
I know in ‘Run Definition’ mode, the target file is written in the CFX-Solver working directory and deleted at the end of the run, could anyone tell me which file I should look at? Or if we manually use the CFX-interpolator in CFX-Solver Manager, when the .res source file successfully interpolated into the .def mesh file, where can we find out the interpolated results? Thank you very much! |

If you save a results file on iteration zero (either as a steady state or transient simulation) it will put the initial condition in the results file under time step/iteration zero. This is how I check initial conditions.
I thing you can interpolate onto a def file and then load the def file in CFD-Post and you should be able to see the normal velocity, pressure etc variables. I have not done that to confirm but I think that is the case.

Hi, Gleen: Thank you very much for your nice suggestions. I have tried in CFX and you are right, it works perfectly!
