Hi, I have a structured mesh an a unstructured mesh, between this meshes I have a GGI Connection. I'd like to know if there is a rapport between the nodes of the meshes that must be applay.

Tanks and have a nice day.

Daniele

Daniele,

I'm not sure what you mean by "a rapport between the nodes", but if you are asking if you need to consider the topology on either side, the answer is no. The only consideration is that the geometric surfaces must be the same (within ~10% of element size). If you are dealing with a frame or pitch change, only the hub and shroud curves need to line up, the periodic surfaces don't.

Regards, Robin

I'm pretty sure people who submitted as Guests in 2003 are not going to respond...

Obviously they talk about turbomachinery where hub and shroud curves of each stage have to line up with each other .
Frame or pitch change may occur but the modeller's guide explains everything about the domain interfaces.
