Hi,
I am simulating a membrane. For calculation the local water mass flux I need to have the local amount of NaCl.mf on both sides of a 2D face (interface), that I defined it as a membrane. J water local=k(DeltaP-(NaCl.mf local on memside1*800-NaCl.mf local on memside2*800)) I will be appreciated if someone answers my questions: 1- What should I do about this? (CEL, FORTRAN or something else) 2- How can I write an expression that can calculate and relate the local mass fraction of NaCl on a particular face? (NaCl.mf@UPmembraneface) |

How do you define the membrane ? as a Fluid Fluid domain interface that behaves as a wall, i.e. thin surface ?
If you are using a thin surface, is there an option for mass transfer through the thin surface? I am sure there is an option for transfer of an additional variable where the flux across the surface is proportional to the difference of the variable on both sides. Hope the above helps, |

I also try to overcome this problem.
