Hi there!
I am trying to export data files in .csv format into a single folder. My current work process: 1) Open CFD Post and Load .cdat files that are exported using fluent 2) Define a plane 3) Define a point cloud on the surface of the plane 4) export the point cloud data into a folder in .csv format This works relatively well but it takes a lot of time and is very repetitive. Is it possible to automate the process and make each .csv filename equal to that of the .cdat file that was imported into CFD Post? I've tried Session and was able to record the actions from 1 to 4, just need a way for the program to read all the .cdat files in the root folder and export them into a separate folder in .csv format Thanks for the help and merry christmas! |

You can include perl in session files to handle looping, variables, logic statements and lots more. Have a look in the CFD-Post documentation for how to incorporate perl into session files.
