You have to define a variable which defines streamfunction, and do processing on that.

If so I need a relation relate stream function with flow variables? I am really not know this relation?

As i understood from this post I think the relation of stream function can be written in terms of axial velocity as below:
Stream function=axial velocity (u) * vertical distance (y)
Is it right?

That does not sound right to me

Streamfunction is only defined for 2D flows. Is your flow 2D?

Yes 2D but I want a relation for it in terms of u-velocity?

The velocity field is the derivative of the velocity field, so to get stream function from the velocity field you will need to integrate the velocity over the flow domain. There is no built in function to do this, you will need to write a routine to do it. I don't think you can do this in CFD-Post either, you will need something with more mathematical power (matlab, python etc).

Well Mariam, First of all you develop the simulation of the defined problem after that if the solution is converted successfully the go to the export solution in that there is an option of stream function you can export as ASCII or CGNS forma open the ASCII in MS Excel or CGNS in CFD-Post here you have all the value of stream function at all the nodes.
Is that helpful?? If not please provide the detail of whole problem.
Thank You

Thank you NISHANT for the reply. My solution converged successfully but I cannot find steam function in export option in CFD-Post it not exist? may you send me illustrated photo if possible?

Thanks
mariam

Yes I know the difference but do CFD have any option to export the case and data file.
