Hello everybody, so here I have my cfx model and I can't find how to set parameters such as working fluid, rotor rotational speed, and other things.
Below you can see my geometry. In the green box is the NGV's, so there I have to define the total temperature and the working fluid material In the red box is the turbine blades, where I have to set the rotational speed and the turbulence model(I guess) and the type of the simulation (frozen rotor) So, anyone willing to help me? Thank you. |

Hello,
I believe you would have to make sure that the different things you highlighted are marked as different parts in your tree view at the left. They also need to be specified as multiple domains (like usually you have Default Domain in the left tree view but there needs to be several). Once you get past that step, in each of the domains you can specify the material in a drop down. And the Materials tree view item at the left allows you to specify the material properties. Sample materials: - This is a youtube video about multiple domains (but it uses turbo mode, I am not familiar with it) Please tell whether this helps. |

Open the tree "Flow Analysis". You will find everything else there.
But please do yourself a favor and work at least through some tutorials - especially those on turbo simulations. |
