Hello.
I want to simulate the effect of rupture disc on the exhaust pipe. Rupture disc should be closed when the pressure is under 0.5 bar. But after the pressure reaches 0.5 bar, the disc should be open. How can I simulate this rupture disc? The boundary condition will be changed wall to outlet depends on pressure near the disc. I wander about pre setting and CEL Expression for this traisient simulation in CFX. Thank you!! |

You could:
* Use the conditional opening feature on an interface, linked to a CEL expression which looks at the pressure * Use a momentum source term to freeze the flow when the valve would be closed * Model the valve directly as a rigid body simulation |
