Hello,
I want to simulate a little axial turbine which is installed in apipe. So I place the turbine between two pipe parts. I defined a Fluid domain where I took the Volumes of the two pipes and the fluid Volume in the turbine. When I start the solver it says, there are 3 isolated Fluid regions. But why is this a problem ? In my CAD Model I created boundary patches so I can fill them in the DesignModeler to a volume. So i got 3 volumes. Is this wrong? My idea is to make only two boundary patches to create only one complete fluid Volume which goes through the two pipe parts and the turbine. Thanks for any help! |

You need to connect the regions up with GGI interfaces.
