how can I create inclined plane with specified dimensions, using point and normal, three point only horizontal or vertical plane can be created (I want to create xy plane with an angle (35) deflected), also I tried using from .CSV file but it give error (said unconnected phases).
thanks

Not sure I understand your concern, but I create an inclined plane passing through a point of interest by using such point and the normal to the plane

Try any point in your geometry, and normal (-1, 1, 0) and see what you get. You can adjust once you get the hang of it.

Hope the above helps,

yes, by this way inclined plane can be created, but the problem in this method, I can not set target angle, and sometimes two plane along the domain created I do not why??.

maybe have to suffer, calculate 2 points for the axis and 3rd for the angle using trigonometry

A quick review of vectors in 2D space,

MyUnitVector = cos(theta) i + sin(theta) j

where theta is the angle respect to x-axis.

ItsUnitNormalVectors = -sin(theta) i + cos(theta) j

Then, to define the plane you need to specify

Point = MyPointX, MyPointY, MyPointZ

Normal = ..., ..., ...

Unfortunately, you cannot write the expression in the user interface; however, you can do that in the command language (Use Edit Command Editor after you have created the plane).

It is not that difficult..

thanks, but the above information should enter via expression? or ? I dont understand from (edit command), means how can I go to edit command?

Right click on the plane object shown on the Outline Tree
