Hi all,

I am facing an irritating problem on ANSYS Workbench which almost every time occur when ANSYS workbench was shut abnormally. I need to elaborate abnormal situations which are when solver crashes in simulation ansys workbench stopped with error code 01, when power failure in my office (which I don't know why, may be some construction work is in progress at my office premises) or when computer shut down by any chance.

When I relaunch the workbench project from my working project folder. I need to review either my cfx set up file or I need to review monitors in solution tab then status bar shows "Starting CFX-Pre..." or "Starting Solution..." and it just reading on and on and on.... I never see any cfx-pre or solution window open to start my work...

Please suggest why is it happening?

I would appreciate as it is wasting too much of time and what I do I create a fresh or new workbench project and new project folder. This is just not right.

Do you have Microsoft OneDrive installed? I was having the same problem with the CFX Launcher, and it started around the time that I installed OneDrive. If you do, try uninstalling OneDrive (I had to uninstall all of Office to fully get rid of it, then re-install) and see if that works for you.
