Hello,

I am facing an error trying to write a solver input file as follows:

A problem was encountered with a CFX data file.
Unable to write the requested IO string array data set.
What = G/CLBSF
Where =ZN1
When =0

Primary file =E:\HJH\SMART-CTMT\sn0311.def[open]
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Are you sure that your disc is not full?
And "Primary file =E:\HJH\SMART-CTMT\sn0311.def[open]" could make reference to the fact that your sn0311.def is open in another program and therefore not overwriteable?

That would be my guesses.

It is not a very helpful error message, is it?

Something is wrong with your setup. I am guessing here, but are you linking to external files? Do you have a material property defined using a lookup table? I am guessing these sort of issues could cause that error.

I've found the answer, and finally succeeded in writing the solver input file.

This error was caused by the long name of some boundary region.
I've set very long name on a primitive region.
That's why solver input file could not be written.
