I'm doing a supersonic transient analysis for which my time step is 0.001s resulting acoustic courant number in CFX is 999.
would it be advisable to decrease my time step and increasing coefficient loops to 5+? 1) domain is 15x10x10 'unit' lengths 2) supersonic analysis |

CFX is an implicit solver and the Courant number is not a limiting parameter. You choose a time step size which gives you accurate results and converges properly. Don't worry about the Courant number.
