Insufficient memory allocated

While running a transient run, I am getting the following error. Please suggest me the solution. I have tried the run by increasing memory allocation factor as 1.2, 1.4, 1.8, 2.0, 4.0, 9.0.
I've even increased the real memory as 2x in advanced options. But I am getting the same error as: +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | *** INSUFFICIENT MEMORY ALLOCATED *** | | | | ACTION REQUIRED : Increase the real stack memory size. | | | | Details : | | Requested space : 62619924 words | | Current allocated space : 2147483646 words | | Current used space : 1184634444 words | | Current free space : 962849202 words | | Number of free areas : 163 | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ Details of error:- ---------------- Error detected by routine MAKDAT CDANAM = MFLOIP_FL2 CDTYPE = REAL ISIZE = 62619924 CRESLT = FULL Current Directory : /FLOW/SOLUTION/TSTEP10/CLOOP5/ZN1/ELS1 +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Writing crash recovery file | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction. | | Message: | | Stopped in routine MEMERR | | | | | | | | | | | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | An error has occurred in cfx5solve: | | | | The ANSYS CFX solver exited with return code 1. When you cannot recover from this error with 2x stacks then it tells you something is fundamentally wrong with your simulation setup.
Generally this is caused by something which is much more complex than normal - it could be a GGI, material properties, lots of CEL or something. What is unusually complex in your model? |

sometimes (happened to me) it helps if you set up instead of 2x for example just 1,2x and it works...

Thanks a lot for your reply.
I've run the same kind of simulation with lesser number of nodes. And it was a success. I've checked my ANSYS Pre file by comparing both the files. I could not find any difference. Even I've remeshed the geometry atleast 10-12 times but I'm unable to solve the problem. My simulation involves multi-phase. |
