Hi guys,

I need some help to generate a mesh using ICEM CFD. Until this moment I only used the normal meshing tool from ANSYS. But I think this unstructured mesh I made isn't efficient (picture 1). Now I want to try to build up a mesh using ICEM CFD. I already done some tutorials, but I am still confused what kind of mesh concept I can follow. Since I only have 3 weeks, I could need some help.

Some words about the case:

I want to simulate a rotary bell atomizer, which sprays some droplets (discrete-phase-model) on a plate or object with a given distance of approximately 200mm. In the tubes of the shaping air, a velocity of Ma=1.5 could be reached. The new mesh should look like the mesh on picture 2 and picture 3.
Maximum number of cells should be 15m.

If someone can help me, please write a pm. Then we can also discuss the payment for this offer.

Best regards,
Nico

Hi,

Are you interested on tetrahedral mesher or any type for your simulation?

Please send me the geometry details to sastry.chm@gmail.com

I will look in to it and suggest you which type of mesh will be good.

Regards
