Good morning everybody,
I am located in upstate NY. I am i need of a professional engineer or firm that can run some CFD on a design that i have come up with to determine the wind pressure +/- on a Solar racking system. I have had a PE run the ASCE method 1,2,3 on the design already. However he feels that the results are not accurate. He has suggested that a CFD or wind tunnel testing would be the next step. please respond to this if you can provide this service.

Dear Lane,

I'm a Cfd consultant based in Italy. Even if I'm specilized in multiphase and naval architecture CFD (as you can see from the website in my signature), I'm also experienced in performing those kind of simulations.

In particular, I've analyzed the loads on the roof and walls acting on a building, and compared the findings aganist wind tunnel measurements and the British Standard 6399 empirical formulations (equivalent to ASME, I suppose).
