I have a 2d rectangular channel. I don't know how to calculate bulk mean temperature in cfd post processing.
Please help. Also I want to plot bulk mean temperature along the length of the channel. Please mention the steps to be used in fluent post processing. |

Hi,
I never plot the bulk temperature in 2d. I use 3d geometry but I think it is similar. First you should make plane many plane in the crossection. Then, you can make expression. Chose Mass-weighted average, then Temperature as variable, and select the planes. Hope it helps

My geometry is 2D . Suppose I draw many lines and then take line average of temperature at various locations, will it give bulk mean temperature at that location?
