Hello,
for my master thesis I want to simulate a hot embossing process. In the following you can see the starting and the process situation. For a start I would like to simulate the heat transfer from the emboss to the PMMA workpiece as pictured in the process situation. I didnt work with Ansys Workbench yet and hope you can give me some ideas how to start. So far I didnt find PMMA in the material database, does anyone have it? Is it possible to simulate the phase change over glass transition temperature with Ansys? Thank You very much. |

You can find a tutorial on phase change on customer portal.
It is part of course Mechanical_Heat_Transfer. |
