dmaz is on a distinguished road
Hallo, I'm running the CFD analysis of an impeller.
I have made a tetrahedral mesh without imposing an identical mesh in the two periodic surfaces of the flow channel.
I have succeeded in running the analysis in OpenFoam, (it interpolates the two different surface mesh).
Now I would like to do the analysis in Fluent, using the same mesh.
I have tried to make the surfaces periodic using the command mesh/modify-zones/make-periodic, however it reports me:

Warning: Number of elements does not match between zone 12 and 13.
Error: Failed to make zones periodic.
Error Object: #f

It there another command to interpolates the surfaces and make them periodic?
Thanks in advance,
Dmaz

There should be an option for a periodic interface in the "interfaces" tab. This type does not require identical mesh topology on both sides.
