Hi, I have just a question about bodies of influence. I am having trouble getting them to work when the body of influence is totally inside the scoped body, i.e see attached picture with internal box (which i am unable to replicate..) I can only use body of influence when at least some part of the body of influence is outside the body that it is scoped to- which means its poor for using on wake mesh control for 3d models... Any ideas of how to solve this??

I have (perhaps!!) solved this problem. For reference the method that i used is:
The target body that you want to scope to needs to be selected as patch conforming tetrahedron - if you don't do this it will not modify the meshing (To make target body patch conforming right click on mesh, select insert -> method -> select target body --> then select method tetrahedron) Any suggestions please feel free, cheers |
