Maybe you could add the following line to your ".bashrc" or ".alias" or whatever might be your start up script.
alias icemcfd='/usr/ansys_inc/v121/icemcfd/linux64_amd/bin/icemcfd' |

As far as I know the command will not have any adverse effect.
If it does not work try exploring your system with command line or some sort of file browser. Which Linux are you using ? |

Hi, I am using Fedora 16 x64. When i run
$ /ansys_inc/v121/icemcfd/linux64_amd/bin/icemcfd this comes up.. ICEM_ACN is /usr/ansys_inc/v121/icemcfd/linux64_amd ANSYSLIC_DIR is set to /usr/ansys_inc/shared_files/licensing args and it just sits there.. what am i missing ? |

quit old thread, but first hit on google...
on my system (fedora 18) installing some fonts (as in the installation guide) helped with this problem: Code:
yum install xorg-x11-fonts-ISO8859-1-75dpi.noarch xorg-x11-fonts-cyrillic.noarch |

Quaxi, I do not know if you will ever see this. But I want you to know that your post from 8 years ago still solved my problem on Centos8 in 2021.
I don't see mention of this font package anywhere in the installation guide so I am extremely grateful. |
