Hello all,
I am preparing mesh for 5 blades with diamond airfoil. I have five 3D blades with the same shape, same setting, and ..... All parameters are the same. I generated the mesh. As the attached image shows, the mesh is not the same for them. to force the ICEM to follow the edge, I used curvature proximity-based. But it seems ICEM is not following the edge. Do you know: 1- Why the mesh is not the same? 2- How can I force ICEM to generate mesh like the right blade? How to force it to follow the edge geometry? Thanks |

1) Make sure your geometry not only contains surfaces, but also contains curves
2) Define Thin Cuts. You can find them here on forum, or in the Help. |
