[DesignModeler] Creating two connected volumes with one contact face

Hey guys, in Gambit its easy two split a volume with a face to create two smaller volumes and one face between them, but in ANSYS (Space Claim or other geometry programs) when i split a volume with a face, it generates two volumes with two surfaces between them but I want only one contact face, any suggestions?

Use Shared Topology.

in creating geometry stage or in mesh generating stage?

Do this as the final part of the geometry preparation. The shared topology geometry is then passed to the mesh generation application.
