Removing extra faces generated while splitting block

Hi all,
I want to mesh a venturi tube with ICEM with sweep 3d blocking. While splitting the main block and removing the extras, some unwanted faces are generated. How can I remove those, because this results in some edges that will remain unassociated? Best |

I think it is just a matter of refining your blocking strategy.
Maybe split the block horizontally before the two vertical splits, and instead of splitting all blocks, just select the one above the horizontal split. |
