Is there any suggestion on how I can mesh this solid body?
I tried multizone hexa mesh but I get an error: "MultiZone found free block in swept body." I would like to have a nice hexa mesh. In the last picture, you can see the counterpart (the water) meshed in hexa. SolidBody1.png SolidBody2.png SolidBody3.png WaterRadiator.png |

Honestly, having a nice hexa mesh on the solid body is not that important. It is just 1 degree of freedom for heat transfer through the solid; mesh quality is nowhere near as important as it is for fluids.
Did you try hex dominant method if you are set on hexas? I normally make the two bodies a multibody part so that the mesh is conformal across the interface, which probably makes a bigger difference than mesh quality of the solid body. |
