Hello!
I'm trying to create tetra mesh including sharp corner geometry. At the sharp corner, the prism layer doesn't be generated well, as you can see at the figure. I want you to ask the solution of this problem. The mesh settings are below: - Mesh Method : Octree - prism initial height : 1e-6m - Height ratio : 1.2 - Number of layers : 3 - Min prism quality : 0.01 - Fillet ratio : 0.1 - Max prism angle : 180 I have tried to reduce Max prism angle until 140, but the prism didn't generate well. Also, I tried to reduce Min prism quality to 1e-9, it didn't well enough. Anybody could advise me how I can improve the mesh quality and solve the prism mesh problem? Thank you in advance. |

The aspect ratios between the prism layers and the core tetras are so high that ICEM is not being able to handle it. Try to refine the core (volume) tetra mesh in the vicinity of the corner, you can do that for instance by using the density feature or by assigning the curve at the edge of the corner as a part and defining a specific element size to it (part mesh setup).
