problems about editing the unstructured mesh

I wonder if I can edit the mesh generated by unstructured methods to let the elements be vertical so that it doesn't have the uncovered faces in the picture.

Hi,
You can use the edit mesh tool in ICEM > move nodes > project nodes to plane. So you just need to create a plane and select the nodes you want to mode. Have fun |
