Hello,

The meshing method is known as a structured grid, where the mesh near the surfaces have been refined.

Hello,

ANSYS has many tutorials on how to do this. They are available on their website. There are also many videos on YouTube going through how to do this.

bluebase will become famous soon enough
I believe, an automatically created cartesian grid such as your screenshots is not possible within ICEM.
You can however do this with ANSYS Meshing.

This is called Cutcell meshing technology.
I would do this in Fluent meshing.
Within ANSYS only Fluent can handle this type. CFX can't.
