How to create cartesian grid of squares only?

I have been searching for hours and skimming through the help to find an answer to how to create a grid such as the ones shown below Hope you can help thank you |

Hello,
The meshing method is known as a structured grid, where the mesh near the surfaces have been refined. |

ANSYS has many tutorials on how to do this. They are available on their website. There are also many videos on YouTube going through how to do this. |

I believe, an automatically created cartesian grid such as your screenshots is not possible within ICEM.
You can however do this with ANSYS Meshing. |

This is called Cutcell meshing technology.
I would do this in Fluent meshing. Within ANSYS only Fluent can handle this type. CFX can't. |
