Hi all,
I am trying to hex mesh a periodic pipe unit, which has a helical groove running from inlet uptill outlet. That hasn't been successful so far. Any pointers on how can I achieve this would be great. |

Hello,
I do not know if you have found a solution to this already, however I thought of this other thread when I saw your geometry: Icem for twist plate issue as I thought it was similar to what you are trying to do. I would try using the O-Grid technique as described there. Another option would be to do hybrid meshing or even unstructured meshing, if possible. |
