Hi
I just made a doughnut shape by revolving a circle around an axis in Solidworks( that is shown in the post) and i want mesh this solid in ICEM. i know that i should make two O-gird and split where i have 2 cross section, but i do not know how associate my block to my surface for rest places. i mean for 360 degree.

Its trickier than I first thought. I will try it myself. Unfortunately I dont have ICEM at home to try right now ...

Thank you dear AtoHM
i will wait for you to access your ICEM
also i was intended to say that:
I was trying to Simplification my main subject by posting that tube shape solid.
but my main geometry is similar to previous problem but instead of a circle i used an airfoil an revolve it around an axis in solidworks and made a Cylindrical shape.(I show the picture in attachment).so do you have any idea how i can make a block that associate with my body.

By the way you can always opt to only mesh a small part of the geometry and do the rotational extrusion / pattern in ICEM once you have the mesh for that part. That will be way easier than coming up with a blocking for the whole thing. Or you can mesh the 2D-section and extrude.

Gert-Jan will become famous soon enough
Indeed:
- Take the geometry of a cross section of the torus.
- extrude this to a geometrical straight pipe
- create a mesh in this straight pipe, either a tet/prism mesh or a hex mesh using an o-grid.
- delete the mesh, except for the mesh on the initial cross sections
- extrude this mesh along the curves to make up a torus (see second icon in the edit mesh section)
- glue the end sections to form a single volume.
