Hi, I have this problem with my ANSYS Mesh , when i try to create an inflation on any surfaces like what you see at the images, after clicking on generate , ANSYS get this errors
1.Mesher failed to initialize
2.One or more non sweep able bodies have sweep controls and can not be sweep.
3.Mesh generation failed because of poor quality or incorrect input.

I tried with ANSYS 18 and 19
Even i tried it at different Computers.
An Also , i made the quality a lot better or worse!

I designed a simple geometry to show you whats going on:
Inserting an Inflation:

After Click on Generate

I need your help , Any advice on this problem or inflation will be helpful

Thank you all

if it is a sweepable body then you select a face and edge.
In that case it doesn't seem to be swepable.
You must select the body and the lateral faces to have inflation.

Hi, I want to inflate on a none sweepable body, is it possible?
Can I sweep the body ?
I tried changing the method to sweep and It didn't work, still same error.

when on mesh, right click/show/sweepable bodies to see if a body is sweepable.
if it is sweepable it will be colored in green.
then if you want to inflate a sweepable body you have to select the sweep method and select on scr/trg selection "manual source" and add the appropiate face.
rigth click on sweep method -->inflate this method ecc.
if it is not sweepable in general you a have to use another method or decompose further the geometry.
Of course you can inflate a non sweepable body.
insert inflation, select a body (not a face like for sweep... you are not 2sweeping a face") and the surfaces where inflation layers must be created.
ps. if you search on the meshing manual you'll find answer on this kind of questions
