Hey everyboy,
In some cases when I am meshing a geometry, I may give very small element size and thus the meshing computational time is too large, so is there a way to "break - stop " the creation of the mesh? To be more specific, in matlab if you want to break your code while running you have to press "ctrl + c ", so is there an equivalent shortcut for ansys meshing? Thank you in advance |

Click Stop on the ANSYS Workbench Mesh Status dialog box.

apparently it doesn't do the job. Whenever I press stop the process doesn't stop and I have to close the software from task manager. Maybe there is something wrong with my pc, but I have tried it to many other computers and I think they have the same problem

I know I've had to wait quite a while when I need a stop a large mesh during its generation.

Only quick way i know of is killing the "Ansys Meshing Server" in Task Manager. It will stop meshing immediatly.
