Good day

I am having trouble for about a month now.

My inflation layers are not being created till the trailing edge of my geometry.

I am trying to simulate wind tunnel and the flow over a body. I have created an enclosure around the body and a symmetry plane. I have also created geometry for the wake region and around the boundary layer. This was to achieve a finer mesh where most of the information is needed - I used body sizing to do this.

I have changed a lot of the settings including gap factors, maximum angles, total thickness etc.

I have changed the geometry over time and initially the mesh wouldn't even generate the inflation layers. I also receive the error "stair step mesh has been created at some locations". If I change "collision avoidance" to "stair stepping" then this error does not appear but the inflation layers are not correct yet.

I am currently using an inflation option of "total thickness". If I use any other option besides total thickness and first layer thickness then the inflation layers do not appear.

My skewness is also terrible at 0.99348.
And orthogonality of 3.6e-3

Thank you in advanced.

Hi. Pls give a try with following suggestions.
1. Reduce the number of layers to 6 to 10
2. Give the option of first layer thickness with tet size satisfying height to base ratio of 0.7
3. Give separate sizing for trailing edge and refine it.

Also inflation growth factor of 1.2 and linear growth, not exponential
