Hello everyone!

I have imported point data for a 3D wing in ICEM. It works well but when create curves from the point, they don't really follow the points. I suspect this has to do with the number of points that might need to be increased.

The real problem, however, is when I generate surfaces from the curves. The surfaces do not follow the curves. This creates errors in the geometry when I later generate the mesh and unfortunately, these errors are large enough to affect the flow. So I would like to get rid of them.

I have tried to reduce the tolerance, but the problem still remains. I should also mention that I have the "show full" option for the surfaces so unfortunately it's not a graphical thing.

My question is if anyone has an idea of how to solve this? Is the problem in the curves or the surfaces? As I said before, the curves does not follow the points correctly neither so I'm not really sure.

Any help is much appreciated! I'll attach some pictures so you have an idea of what I'm talking about.

I found a solution:

In settings, go into model/units and change the triangulation tolerance. This made the surface follow the curve much better.
