Hello,

I've got a problem when i try to export my 2D mesh in cgns format.
The error is :

The mesh file exporter failed during translation. Please send your data to your support provider.

I've succeeded saving my mesh in msh format without any problem and i can't figure out where the error comes from.

thanks

Hello,

You can try opening the .msh file in ICEM and exporting it to CGNS format. I have done this before and haven't encountered a problem.

I solved it. For 2d ,the problem is the intersection of x axis and mesh. That is , if you have negative coordinated node values at y axis mesher does not export and give error.Solution is simple. You should translate geometry upwards(+y direction). You may build geometry at origin;however ,during meshing some negative y coordinates created.
