Dear all,


I have a Gausian Heat Source on a flat surface. I'd like to create a "spherical" mesh profile centered where this heat source touches the surface. Therefore, the mesh should be very refined next this point and less refined far from this point.

I did a quick image trying to represent how this part of the mesh should look like:



I tried to use "sweep", but I didn't get success.

I am a new Ansys user.

May be you can use "Sphere of Influence" at that point and give element size what you want.
