Hello guys,

I'm struggling with ICEM, this is driving me crazy.

I'm building a 2D mesh of a turbine blade with periodic boundary conditions at the bottom/top.
I have defined a 1st mesh working but it was too poor (Quality Under 0,2) and my case wasn't convergent so I improve my mesh quality (above 0,65). However, I got the following issue while importing my mesh in Fluent 14.5


WARNING: Cell 9756 of thread 11 is missing face 3.
Cell Centroid is (-17.889458, 28.263738).
Clearing partially read grid.
Error: Build Grid: Aborted due to critical error.
Error Object: #f


I have found some tips in the forum but no one work. Do you have any idea to fix that ?

Moreover, if you have some idea sto improve my mesh quality at the trailing edge, it will help me a lot.
For the background, this CFD model will be compared to experimental data. It is a supersonic turbine blade at high incidence angle.

I'm back.

I have solved the problem. The problem was due to the periodic vertices. The same number of nodes is needed at the top edges and the bottom edges. And also, the propagation of these number of nodes have to be considered.

Anyway, this blocking strategy works :
