hybrid mesh around airfoil - ICEM

Hi every one;
I am trying to make a hybrid mesh in 2d for an airfoil. I have a structured mesh around airfoil to capture the boundary ( 2 times the chord length of airfoil, i.e. 1m). I am able to get the tetras respect and project to the line elements when i keep edge spacing 2 to 0.0003. but when i change the spacing to 3e-05 or 3e-06 to make the y+ = 1 or less then the surface tetra elements (outer fluid region) does not respect the line elements and they are too big. I used a build topology tolerance of 0.01 after which i segmented the surface and deleted the surface inside the airfoil. any one could help me out? I need to make edge spacing small around the airfoil. |

Well, I found a way to solve the problem on my own. What I did is I split the collapsed edge come from trailing edge once more vertically and changed the edge spacing from there to the end of the edge. This does not affect the solution accuracy as well I guess |
