Dear Friends
I am uploading the first part of video tutorial where I have discussed in detail the following 1. O-gird, half o-grid and L o-grid and there relationship to VORFN blocks 2. What is importance of geometry operation, dormant entities and build topology. 3. Vertex and edge association. 4. Premesh and conversion to unstructed mesh 5. Solver selection, boundary condition and output to Fluent 6. Changing part name and boundary condition and output mesh again. 7. Scan planes 8. Part mesh setup and update mesh command The important highlight is that, this time I have also added the voice |

One question regarding inserting O-grid around the aerofoil in Simon tutorial for 2d Aerofoil Hexa Meshing. He has used block split method for controlling the mesh in the boundary layer in that tutorial. My question is that can we insert O-grid in that tutorial instead of splitting the block for controlling boundary layer mesh. If yes, then at what stage in that tutorial we can do so. Kindly expalin

Effect of both is same. However if you want to put oblock inside then you have to use the o-block command. In simple words putting an o-grid inside an o-grid, you just need to split the diagonal.

oh yes Cgrid is half Ogrid. One more question....while inserting Ogrid can we specify somewhere the height of Ogrid i.e Ogrid of 2mm, 3mm etc?
