Hi,
I'm trying to make an ansa script. I got most of it right except for one thing. At a certain point in the script I'm using the Mid->Skin function, but I would like to offset the new faces by their Thickness, and obtain a sort of outer face. The function on it's own offsets the new faces by Thickness/2. Any ideas how I could achieve this? The function that does the mid->skin is the base.Skin function : check_skin = base.Skin(apply_thickness=True, new_pid=True, offset_type=1, ok_to_offset=True, max_thickness=5, delete=False) -- and it works just fine, however here I don't seem to find the parameter which asks you about the offset distance, only whether or not you want to offset. Thanks in advance! ps: I've tried using the isolate(outer) function too with various settings, but it just doesn't work as well. |
