Hi everyone,
I 'm new in ANSA and i am trying to do a mesh of a wind turbine including a diffuser. I 'm having some mesh problems with a particular surface which was generated in Solidworks using a boolean operation (difference between two solids). So, how can i make the Boolean operation mentioned above between two solids (STEP files), in ANSA? Thanks in advance. |

You should use
Faces>Topo>Intersect In the options list at the bottom right of ANSA there are options for the boolean operations. Check that in shadow mode all surfaces are oriented grey outwards Use Faces>Orient to achieve this, if it is not the case. The orientation of the faces is important when you want to make boolean operations Hope this helps |
