PhD position: "China Scholarship Council – Newcastle University PhD Scholarships" This scheme provides academically excellent Chinese students with the opportunity to study for a PhD at Newcastle University (UK). The scholarships are supported jointly by the China Scholarship Council and Newcastle University.If you are an enthusiastic Chinese fluid mechanics graduate and would like to do a PhD in Newcastle, feel free to get in touch. Required skills: -Strong motivation and data analysis skills. -Strong background in fluid mechanics, or aerodynamics. -Experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD). -Experience in implementing a project independently and working effectively in teams. -Strong English language proficiency. -Ability to think logically and possessing problem solving skills. Desired skills: -Experience in particle-laden or multiphase flows, -Experience in turbulent flow simulations.
