Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Applications Engineer for our office in Pune, India, 
to manage a set of customer accounts and ensure their technical success with our 
CONVERGE CFD software.

Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned set of accounts for all 
technical issues related to their use of CONVERGE; identify problems and take 
responsibility for resolving issues, including reporting bugs
• Participate in the sales process to facilitate sales and the deployment of our 
software at potential and existing customers
• Lead introductory and advanced training sessions for CONVERGE
• Conduct technical discussions with prospective accounts on the benefits of CFD 
products
• Perform benchmark simulations to define best practices and verify results
• Present new software features to address customer needs
• Create knowledge base articles for the customer portal
• Work on multiple projects/problems simultaneously
• Collaborate with product management and industry teams to provide input on 
future product direction

Requirements:
• M.S. or Ph.D. in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field
• Extensive CFD knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of combustion, turbulence, and spray modeling (desirable)
• Background in chemical kinetics (desirable)
• Gas turbine simulation experience (desirable)
• Electric motor simulation experience (desirable)
• Pump and compressor simulation experience (desirable)
• Internal combustion engine simulation experience (desirable)
• Experience programming in C, C++, Fortran, and MPI (desirable)
• On-site client visits and conference attendance will be required occasionally, 
so applicants should be willing to travel
• In addition to the technical knowledge required for this position, applicants 
should be outgoing, creative, and highly motivated
